Problems in Moloney Hall at the end of the Autumn Term meant that the Lower Juniors Christmas production was unable to go ahead as planned during the run up to the festivities. Flooding had damaged the floor in the Hall making it unsafe for use and the production had therefore to be delayed until January once the new floor was laid.

This year’s show was a production of the Magic Key in which the main characters, two children called Biff and Kipper, together with Floppy the dog are transported back in time with the help of a magic key, to witness the very first nativity.

Confident performances from all the children made this musical offering a pleasure to watch. The colourful costumes and make up, the singing and the cleverly choreographed rock and roll number at the end, all contributed to the overall success of the show – another triumph for the Lower Junior department!
