At Read School Prep, we work in close partnership with parents to ensure every child thrives academically and pastorally. "From the nervous sobbing 4 year old we dropped off to pre-school to the confident young man who has just walked into Year 7, Read School has shaped our Prep School journey.

What we as parents have particularly been grateful for is the tailored child-centred approach to ensuring every child can thrive regardless of their academic ability.  The teachers who have shared his journey all got to know him, and were able to bring the best out of him, encouraging him to show his strengths and worked with him on what he found difficult.    From holding his hand in church in pre-prep, to encouraging him to believe in himself in prep school, we know how lucky we are to have had this experience, and appreciate it would have been a very different experience for our son anywhere else.

Our son loved the fact he got to play sport several times per week!  Monday and Friday fixtures on the cricket pitch were a particular favourite!!  He has made friends for life, gained in confidence, been shown not to be afraid of tackling things he finds difficult and most of all was given the foundation to be able to walk into High School feeling prepared, confident, safe and secure."
