Boys Boarding: Norfolk House
Norfolk House offers modern, purpose-built accommodation designed to make every boy feel right at home. Most pupils share light-filled twin rooms, while Sixth Formers and prefects enjoy dedicated single study-bedrooms. Each room is fully equipped with study areas and generous storage, which boys are encouraged to personalise with their own bedding and photos.
House life balances independence with community. Pupils have access to sleek modern bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen for evening and weekend snacks. For downtime, the vibrant common room serves as the social hub, packed with a large-screen TV, Sky, pool table, a variety of traditional games, Wi-Fi, and the latest games consoles.
From their very first day, boys are welcomed into a warm, supportive family. New pupils - especially Prep pupils - are paired with an experienced 'buddy' to help them settle in seamlessly. Led by a dedicated pastoral team, the house actively encourages boys to take on responsibilities, develop genuine leadership skills, and cultivate empathy and respect for one another.
Girls Boarding: Selden House
Our girls reside in the main building, in Selden House - a charming, characterful building transformed by an extensive, high-spec refurbishment. The house seamlessly combines classic architectural warmth with contemporary living. Bedrooms are thoughtfully designed with built-in study desks and ample storage, giving girls a canvas to personalise their own space with photos and favourite bedding.
Younger boarders share friendly rooms of three or four, fostering close-knit friendships, while older pupils and prefects enjoy single study-bedrooms. Pupils have access to sleek modern bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen for evening and weekend snacks. Evenings are centred around the cosy common room - the vibrant heart of the house - where pupils gather to unwind, chat, watch TV, or play games. The common room serves as the social hub, packed with a large-screen TV, Sky, pool table, a variety of traditional games, Wi-Fi, and the latest games consoles. Selden House offers a safe, comfortable, and truly supportive home away from home.
